Your time and contribution make a difference in girls’ lives. From being a mentor to donating books or money for school supplies to taking a trip to the field with us, you can be a part of empowering girls to thrive!
Be a Mentor
Are you a university/college student (living in Nigeria or Kenya)? Sign up to mentor an adolescent girl. From a monthly phone/Skype call to grabbing coffee or tea with your mentee, you can inspire a young lady to stay in school, navigate career decisions, and live out her full potential.
Donate to SEGEI
Your financial contribution to SEGEI (outside of the scholarship fund) supports our in-country programs for adolescent girls and young women, including:
- Strong Enough Girl club activities in secondary schools
- Strong Enough Girl fora activities for out-of-school adolescent girls
- One-on-one student mentorship program
- Provision of school supplies kits
- Summer Leadership and Skills Camp (Africademy)
- Community advocacy for girls’ empowerment and rights

Partner with Us
SEGEI seeks high school, university, and community partners to engage in reciprocal exchanges that connect girls in low-resource settings to girls in higher-resource environments. Community members are encouraged to participate in a Google Hangout session to share life and career experiences/tips with adolescent girls. We want to exchange global #StrongEnoughGirl stories while building trans-national community among girls.
Take a Trip with Us!
Ever wondered what life is like for an adolescent girl living in Nigeria or Kenya? Are you feeling adventurous? Come experience life in the field! Join us for an inspirational project trip and engage with the girls in-person. Let us know you are interested here
