SEGEI

Our Programs

SEGEI works with government and community leaders and in junior and senior secondary schools and communities around Nigeria and the United States to help girls practice healthy living and acquire marketable skills by educating girls on self-esteem, leadership, sexual and reproductive health, academic success, and promoting trans-continental exchange. SEGEI supports girls to stay in school and pursue university degrees through provision of school supplies and academic scholarships. SEGEI also bridges the mentorship gap for women by connecting young women aged 18-35 to accomplished female professionals around the world who share practical, real-world inspiration, advice and resources to enable women live healthy and successful lives while building a network of empowered female role models. We aim to close the economic and gender gaps in education and advance Global Goals 3,4&5: Ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all; Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all and achieve gender equality by empowering all women and girls.
