A Global Leadership Initiative
EVOLVE Girls Mentorship Program
A year-long global leadership initiative connecting girls across cultures, countries, and communities through mentorship, leadership development, and meaningful relationships
About the EVOLVE Girls Mentorship Program
Adolescent girls today are growing up in an increasingly complex world. While many are full of potential, they are also navigating challenges related to identity, mental and emotional wellbeing, social isolation, digital influences, academic pressure, and limited access to trusted mentors and leadership opportunities. These challenges are often amplified for girls from multicultural, immigrant, and underserved communities.
Despite growing investments in youth development, many programs remain short-term, activity-based, or focused primarily on academic achievement. Few provide girls with sustained mentorship, leadership development, and a safe community where they can build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and discover their purpose.
The EVOLVE Girls Mentorship Program is a year-long global leadership initiative that connects girls across cultures, countries, and communities through mentorship, leadership development, and meaningful relationships.
Our Vision
To build a global community where every girl is empowered to discover her voice, lead with confidence, and create positive change in her family, school, and community.
Program Goal
To develop confident, compassionate, and courageous young women by providing sustained mentorship, leadership development, and cross-cultural learning opportunities that prepare girls to become positive leaders and changemakers.

Meet the Program Convener
At the heart of EVOLVE is a simple belief: when girls are given the right support, opportunities, and community, they become confident leaders who transform families, communities, and generations.
The EVOLVE Girls Mentorship Program is convened by Onyinye Edeh-Vincent, Founder of the Strong Enough Girls’ Empowerment Initiative (SEGEI). She is a public health leader, mentor, social entrepreneur, and leadership coach who has spent more than a decade designing and leading programs that empower girls and women across Africa and the United States.
Drawing from years of experience in girls’ leadership, education, health, and community development, Onyinye developed the G.E.M. Leadership Model—Grow, Empower, Multiply—to help girls build confidence, strengthen character, develop practical leadership skills, and create positive impact in their communities.
Working alongside a dedicated network of volunteer mentors and guest speakers, she provides the vision and leadership that shape every EVOLVE experience, ensuring each participant is equipped to grow into a confident, compassionate, and courageous leader.
"Every girl carries extraordinary potential. Sometimes all she needs is someone to believe in her, invest in her, and remind her that she was created on purpose, for a purpose." — Onyinye Edeh-Vincent
