The Building Knowledge and Leadership for Adolescents and Young People project implemented by Education as a Vaccine and Strong Enough Girls Empowerment Initiatives focused on increasing knowledge of adolescents and young people on Comprehensive Sexuality Education and strengthening the capacity of the School-Based Management Committees including Parent Teacher Associations (PTA), to enable them protect and safeguard young people within the school system. The project was implemented between, September 2021 and March 2022. Activities were carried out in Benue, and FCT and 37,682 adolescents and young people were reached with sexual and reproductive health information through in-school outreaches, edutainment, and community outreaches. 224 school health ambassadors emerged after the training of adolescents. 626 parents and teachers have increased knowledge about parent-child communication. There was an increase in the number of AYP who accessed the MyQ services by 58% in FCT and 46% in Benue State.
