COVID-19: SEGEI’S COMMUNITY RESPONSE

We are all embracing our new reality of washing our hands more often than we’d like to and practicing #SocialDistancing. While the entire world grabbles to make sense of the current condition of our world, SEGEI remains concerned about the well-being and education of adolescent girls and their communities.

Below is information on how SEGEI is responding at this time to the needs of the girls and community we serve. You can help us support women, girls and their families during this difficult and economically-challenging time. Please click the “DONATE” button at the top right corner of our website or follow the instructions listed in the flyer below.

For up-to-date information on the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic and how to stay safe, please visit the World Health Organization (WHO) or Nigeria Centre for Disease Control websites or Twitter pages.

Please stay at home and practice good personal and social hygiene. Together, we will overcome the coronavirus pandemic.

YOU CAN HELP GIRLS AND FAMILIES.

Strong Enough Girls

SEGEI is a women-led non-profit organization dedicated to helping girls and young women in low-resource and marginalized settings find their voices, access resources, and use their talents to thrive. We seek to IGNITE, NURTURE, and HARNESS the intellectual, emotional, and social strengths of adolescent girls and young women through education (formal and informal), mentorship, and life skills development.
