SEGEI staff and some Indi-Genius Podcast Series Champions were live at the International Conference on Family Planning, 2022, in the city of Pattaya, Thailand from Nov 12th-17th.

We had the opportunity to present a Live Stage panel discussion about the Indi-Genius Podcast Series and share the amazing work that the young family planning and reproductive health leaders have been doing in their communities in Nigeria and the Republic of Niger . The Live stage discussion featured SEGEI’s Founder and CEO, Onyinye Edeh, ICFP Youth Trailblazer Umanah Peace, Niger’s FP2030 Youth Focal Point Mariama Abdou Gadp and SEGEI’s Programs Manager, Queen Ugwoeru.

SEGEI was also represented by Queen Ugwoeru in a second live stage discussion organized by FP2030 Global to discuss ‘Family Planning Commitments for Gen Z’s’. She shared insights on the importance of involving young people when coming up Family planning Commitments and how SEGEI has engaged young people in its Family Planning Programs.

Lastly, Onyinye Edeh moderated an oral presentation session on “Access to contraception: from barriers to menstrual changes”.

It was truly exciting and heart-warming to connect, interact and learn with and from other global family planning and reproductive health leaders.
